Renovations at Hamilton Lakes, The Center of the Suburbs

Recently trademarked as the Center of the Suburbs for it’s proximity to all Chicagoland communities, Hamilton Lakes Business Park is home to over 3.5 million square feet of office space.  Hamilton Lakes is known for it’s superior office space and luxurious amenities, with beautiful indoor and outdoor public spaces.  Since the park was developed by Hamilton Partners in 1987, many of the buildings have been renovated for the trends of today’s marketplace.

Renovations at 500 Park and One Pierce Place, which consist of approximately 1 Million square feet, were just completed last month.  Balfour Pacific and Hamilton Partners invested over $7,000,000 in both buildings.  At One Pierce Place, Hamilton Partners renovated front entrance and lower lobby, adding a wifi lounge and conference center.  At 500 Park, renovation included a massive update to the entrance and lobby, and lower level concourse level.  HP created a new wifi lounge on the lower level and tenants now walk out to a patio overlooking the walking path and lake.

The lobby and elevator areas were brightened with new lighting, ceilings and floors in both buildings.
Farmers Fridge and Foodsby, were added to increase the food options for tenants and increase the amount of post lunch options in the buildings. Both options increase employee satisfaction, can boost performance and enhance company culture and engagement. The wifi lounges allow for an escape from the typical lunchroom and encourage a community in the buildings.

At 555 Pierce, Hamilton Partners renovated the lobby and added new furniture, an electronic directory, and updated artwork. At 333 Pierce we also added a wifi lounge with healthy vending options for tenants who can’t get away for lunch.

At 150 Pierce we designed 5 spec suites on it’s 2nd floor and created a shared office space. The floor offers pre-configured, furnished layouts, with a shared kitchen and two conference rooms. The unique common areas for employees to collaborate away from their desks.
